Chapter 1: Missing Memories

A/N: just little changes from the Cardcaptor Sakura series: -
1. Yukito and Touya stay in an apartment. They are just best friends instead of a gay couple.
2. Syaoran’s father’s name is Li Beowulf. He is not dead. He is divorced with Li Yelan.
3. Syaoran have a younger sister, Li Hayling.
4. There might be some ninja techniques from the Naruto series but they use magical powers to use them instead of chakra. Hehe. (E.g.: Chidori, Sharighan, Rosengan…)
5. Although there are quiet a lot of ninja stuffs from Naruto, but I won’t be using their characters. This means, there is no Kakashi-sensei to teach them ninja techniques but Wei-sensei teaching them martial arts. Who is their teacher? We’ll find out soon.
6. When you see italics it means someone is communicating telepathically.
7. Everyone calls Hayling ‘Li-chan’ and everyone calls Syaoran ‘Li-kun’ (except special cases)
8. The couples are… Syaoran and Sakura!!! Eriol and Tomoyo!!! Hayling and Fye!!!
9. This is no joke: What do you think if I pair Syaoran’s third and fourth elder sisters with Touya and Yukito?
10. Eriol is back from England and now he’s living happily with Tomoyo. How did they get back together? What about Kaho Mizuki? The adventure begins…
I’m a big fan of all kinds of mangas so I might be stealing some ideas such as names… etc. Actually, this story tends to be sad at first but I decided not to cause it just makes me breaks down and cry coz it’s so sad… So some how somewhere in this story, there will be some humour. I hope

*Flashback* (this is at the end of the second CCS movie, The Sealed Card)
[A/N: I changed a little bit a bout the ending at the end of the 2nd CCS movie. Rrright… The deal is, to seal the card, you will lose your relationship with the one you loved most, including any memories involving with him/her. And even if he/she does get back the memories, their relationship will never be same again]
The Clow Card tells Sakura that she was alone and cold, locked away in the darkness. She tells Sakura she was happy to see her friends again. Sakura disagrees and tells her that she cannot be called a friend—friends never push each other around.
Hearing their master's words, the Sakura Cards pull away from the Clow Cards possession and return to Sakura to form a path between the Clow Card and Sakura. She walks on the path and invites the Clow Card to join her. Sakura assures her she will be loved and she won't be alone. The Clow Card believes her and releases herself from her black sphere to allow Sakura to begin the transformation.
As she chants her incantation, she stops mid-sentence. Sakura regrets the fact she never got to tell Syaoran her true feelings, acknowledging it to herself. Knowing this had to be done to bring everyone back; she dismisses it and finishes her incantation. Just as she thinks she's going to lose her feelings, a gush of wind combined with light move around her to the other side of the Clock Tower behind her. Standing on the other side where the Clow Card once stood was Syaoran. He had caught up with her and a black sphere had formed around Syaoran.
Syaoran tells her that she had used a lot of her cards and therefore was weaker than him. He tells her that even if he loses his love for her, he will learn to fall in love her again. Expressing his final words, the black sphere darkens around him. As Sakura cries out his name in distress, the card she created months ago activates and shoots out beams of yellow light.
The last part of the deal to complete the transformation is fulfilled. The newly transformed Clow Card drops into her mistress' hand, telling her that everything will be okay. She has transformed into The Hope Card. As she looks at the new Sakura Card, she sees Syaoran standing in front of her, looking at his hands.
Sakura builds up courage and decides to tell Syaoran her feelings even though he doesn't feel the same for her anymore. She tells him that she loves him, that he is the one she loves the most. Syaoran turns around, staring at her, emotionless.
He doesn't reply and she begins to cry.
*End of Flashback*
*Another Flashback*
“Dad, why are you making him forgets about being in Japan?”
“I don’t want him go looking for it.”
“Why don’t you allow him to look for it?”
“Because he will never succeed and he’ll end up wasting time.”
“But it’s not fair for him!”
*End of Flashback*
~4 years later~
Syaoran was practising in the training room when he heard a soft knock on the door and knew who was it. No one else but his twin sister would knock so softly. But when she’s really angry… You don’t know what she would do. Among all the woman in Li Clan, his twin sister is the most graceful one of all and also the most aggressive one when she was in the tennis court. He ignored it and continued punching the punch bag.
Without any other options, Hayling had to use her magic to open the locked door or break the door. She decided not to be so aggressive towards the door as it was innocent. [-_-;] She concentrated on the door lock and opened it the next second. She is a very powerful magician.
“Mom and Dad are divorcing tomorrow.”
“I know” Syaoran hit the punch bag harder.
“Syaoran!!!” Fanran and Feimei were calling his name at the top of their lungs. The two elder sisters barge into his room, they started asking him questions on how Japan looked like. Syaoran was confused. He had never been to Japan before.
“Wha-What are you talking about? I’ve never been to Japan before!” He exclaimed.
“Don’t deny it, Syaoran. You’ve been there to capture the Cards when you were ten!” Feimei said.
“Clow Cards? I did not go to Japan to capture the Clow Cards! I met in an accident before I reached the airport!” he asked. Everyone was getting more confused at every passing second.
“Ah! Now I remembered! He met with an accident!” Fanran said. “I forgot” and winked at Feimei.
“Ah…Yes, yes. Now I remembered. Sorry to bother you, Syaoran. About something that you don’t remember.” Feimei said. Both of them walked out of his room, talking excitedly about Japan.
“I heard that Japanese guys are very cute!”
Uh-huh. Cuter than Chinese guys anyway.”
Syaoran glared at them both. Japanese guys are cuter than Chinese guys? Maybe he should reconsider about asking Kay Lin to go to Japan with him after all, IF he had to follow his mother.
“Don’t take them seriously, Syaoran. They just have bad taste. Not all Chinese girls like Japanese guys, you know.”
“I have a question to ask.”
“What?”
“According to the laws, do we have the right to choose who we wanted to stay with after our parents divorce?”
“Er, no.” Syaoran slumped onto his bed.
“Actually, it depends. If our parents can settle it themselves, then we will not need to go to the court to settle this thing.”
“And our parents let us choose?”
“I’ll go ask Mom about it.” Hayling went downstairs to look for her mother. She came back up into Syaoran’s room a few minutes later.
“Bad news. Both our parents want both of us to live with them.”
“They have to go to the court?”
Hayling nodded.
Syaoran slumped onto his bed. “We’re doomed to follow either one of them. What if I wanted to live with Mom, but Dad won the case?”
“You’re to live under Dad’s roof unhappily.”
Syaoran sighed. “Wait… what if both of us chose who to live with then, the chances of winning will be higher, right?”

“Mom! Ifwechoosetolivewithyou,isthechancesofwinningthecasehigher?” Hayling asked. Syaoran was standing next to her, smiling hopefully.
“I didn’t catch what you say.” Yelan said. Hayling and Syaoran sweat dropped.
“If we choose to live with you, are the chances of winning the case higher?” Syaoran asked.
“Well, I don’t know… I’ll call my lawyer.” Yelan replied. She fished out her cell phone from her handbag and dialled her lawyer’s number.
“Hello? Mr. Gokudera? Well, my children were asking that if they choose to live with me, would that make the percentage of me getting parental right to take care of them.”
“Well, of course. We’ve just added a point for the judge to choose you as their guardian.” Yelan’s lawyer, Mr. Gokudera said over the phone.
“Thank you.” Yelan said and put down the phone. “Who do you choose to live with?” she asked both of them.
“You, of course!” Hayling answered happily.

Syaoran took out a box filled with junk of all kinds. His mother had won the case, and he’s packing his things for Japan. His mother told them that they were to follow her to Japan if she won the case. Now that she did, he got ready and was really excited about it. He sorted out the things in that junk box and found an album which held pictures of him when he was young. He took it out and had a look in it. He saw a picture of him and a girl who had light auburn hair and green emerald eyes and tried to figure out who it was but to no vain. He went to Hayling to ask her who that girl is. In the picture, he was wearing a very weird looking green costume and the girl was wearing some sort of weird dress. They were standing side-by-side.
“Hayling, who’s this girl?” he asked once he saw his sister. He showed her the picture.

“Where did you get that? Oh… You look so cute in this costume. Do you still have it?”
“No, I don’t remember even wearing this costume and this picture is from a very old photo album kept in that junk box of mine. Any ideas where I took this picture?”
“You took this picture when you went to Japan, remember?”
“Japan? Have I ever gone to Japan? For God’s sake, I’ve never gone to Japan! First Fanran and Feimei, now you!” Syaoran look at her suspiciously. “Are you hiding something from me?”
“NO! We’re not hiding anything! Not a single tiny little se-“
“You are. If you’re not, why is everybody saying that I went to Japan before? Tell me!”
“Uh…”
“Tell him, Hayling.” Their mother appeared at the door. “Return back his memories.”
“But, Mom. How about Dad?”
“He’s not a problem, since he’s no longer his guardian. Return his memories, darling. He deserves it. It’s his.”
“Well, okay then.” She put a hand on Syaoran’s forehead.
“What are you doing?” he asked, puzzled.
“Quiet. I need to concentrate. ”A few seconds later, the spell was done, and Syaoran’s memories are returned

“We are going to Japan! Woot woot!” Feimei cheered. Everybody sweat dropped. Al of them were at the airport, waiting to be boarded.
“What is ‘woot woot’?” Syaoran asked.
“Well, ‘woot woot’ is a cheer!” Feimei explained.
“Flight 929, boarding now. Destination Japan. Passengers please board now.” Someone boomed over the loud speakers.
“We are off to Japan!!!” Feimei cheered again. She skipped towards the boarding point.
