Chapter 1: Kidnapped

Hi!! This is my first work and i hope it turns out good. Not all of them will be like this
but i hope you like it. I will add a new chapter every day if i can.
Oh and most of the characters in this story belongs to CLAMP. Plz don't sue me CLAMP you won't get much if you do!!

It was silent in the castle, only the rusuling of the new born baby girl could be heard. She lay quitly in her cradle with her parents sound asleep near by.
THen a sudden CRASH was heard in the once silent room. Suddenly every one awoke! Panic rose in the room as they saw the men in black enter the room.
The Young Man put his arms around the young woman to protect her as the woman reached for her baby, screaming. But it was too late.
The men took the Baby and escaped as the young woman screamed even louder. By now every one in the castle was awake.
The king burts through the door. " What happened!?" he screamed. The lady told him in between sobs " They..... They took the Baby!"
and she burts into another spam of tears as the man beside tried to comfert her.
The king took one look at the crying woman and shouted to the guards who had just arrived
" Search the kingdom the princess has been kidnapped!!"
But it was too late, they men were already outside the castle with the baby, they only had enough time to shoot the men with poisenous aroows.
But they were already pass the walls. [I]Even if the did die from the shot the princess will still be out there, what if we never find her?"
thought the king as he went to comfort the grief striken parents.
15 years later
" I WANT MY BREAKFAST NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" shouted Beatrice as she lay in her silk bed. " Coming ."
Said Shannon as as she tried to balance four trays at once that contianed the breakfast of the family she worked for while trying
to get into one of the twins sister's bedroom to give it to her. She she just ignored and smiled as she went through the daily deamanding from the sisters,
the scorn & dissaproval from the mother, and the ignoring from tthe father and fininished the rest of the morning chores.
After that she headed striaght for her small room which she shared with her nana to relaxe a while before she had to do the afternoon chores.
Her nana smiled at her as she walked in. " The brats made a fuss agian didn't they?" she questioned her as shannon just smiled.
" Well your better than that. Just smile and ignore them, their just jealous of you. Soon you''ll be out of this dump." " Yes nana."
Shannon replied as she looked at her aging nana. " Oh that reminds me! Since its your 15th birthday today i have a gift." Said Nana as she pulled out a beautiful golden
locket with wings carved on the top. " But Nana! that most have cost a fortune you really shouldn't have!" cried Shannon." oh but its not from me." She said with a wry smile. " Its from your self. You were found wearing it when we found you. But remeber to hide it from the others." " Yes Nana." Shannon said as she put on the necklace.
Shannon knew that she was adopted when she was found abondoned as a baby. But other than that no one told her about where she had come from. It must of cost a fortune, maybe i came from a rich family. She thought as she laid down to rest before the rush of the afternoon chores.
Oh well... she thought as she started to fall asleep .

In the huge meeting room inside the castle sat 3 figures. One, the king of Clow, stood up." I know this is a difficult time for you too, But..." he said adressing to other people in the room.." .... we need to find a replacement ball for the one that was supposed to be for your daughter.You know what will happen if we don't." he finished with a sigh. " I know it was suppossed to be a coronation ball for your daughter, but shes gone.We searched for as long as we could and nothing turned up. And we need to still need to have a ball, no matter if its not even from our family.It has to be held for a reason. So here are a bunch of letters recommending people for the ball to be celebrated for. Okay?" He just a look at his somber sister, waiting for her to answer.But instead her husband, spoke. " Yes we know Toya, your right we'll.. we'll be ok." and then he sat back down to comfert Sakura who looked like she was about to break into tears.
Then the high priest came back in with a bunch of more letters in his hands. As if sensing the tension between the group he put on a big smile and said,"Well, we better get started if wer'e goin to read all of these recomendations!"Just like Yukito to liven the mood up... thought toya as every one put on a lookof determination and began to open up the huge stack of letters.

" The last ( pant )( Pant ) letter.... This one looks preety good." smiled Yukito as he read the recemendation." It's royalty. The Li clan if i'm not mistaken."
"Lemme look at that. said toya. "Its says here its supposed to be the heirs 15th birthday. Wait a second!!" He suddenly looked real angry.
" What let me see!" cried Sakura.She burst into a fit of gigles." You gotta see this Syaoran!" " What is it?" He looked at the paper and his face turned bright red.
" Oh no........"
Back in the Country of Na'ie
Shannon was woken by thrilled screams " OHHH MYYYY GOOOSSSSSSSHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" Shannon
ran down they steps of the house ( careful to hide her new necklace under her shirt)and found the twins
Beatrice and Gewndle Smiling and screaming like excited maniacs! Even the mother Foral, who always wore a
frown,was smiling widely! Shannon coughed " Ummmm.... exuse me?" The frown istantly appeared on Foral.
And the twins turned around to he and screamed." Even you can't ruin this, stupid" Said Gewndle who was then replied by Beatrice.
" YEA!! I mean its like (!) the best thing that happend!!" Shannon turned around and found that the
Father, who rarlely comes out of his office, right there. " Now whats with all the racket!!" he shouted." DAd!!!" the twins shouted in unision.
" We've been invited the Kingdom of Clow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
1 month later ( along the road to the kigndom of Clow)
"Oh.... my back!" cried Nana as she tried to squeeze in with Shannon. " Why do they have to give us such
small traveling space for us while they travel in luxury in the front?" asked shannon as she moved so
her nana could have more space. " Because they are horribly jealous that they are ugly & lazy and you are beautiful and kind.
" She said matter-of-factly. Shannon could sort of understand that...i mean she HAD been complimented many times
about her short aubern hair, slim figure, amber brown eyes, and personality.
While most people called them fat, ugly, mean, and some even said that their hair was supposed to dyed .
Their hair did look unatural. " But why do the terrorize you too?" she asked.
" Because i stick up for you." she said simply and would say no more on the matter.
The countrie of Clow came into view. Her nana finally spoke up and said " This is where you were found as a baby.
In fact the day of the ball is the day that we found you. So its must likely your birthday then because when we found you,
you had just been born." " Really?!" I asked. She nodded. Maybe their finnaly telling me more about were i come from..
she thought, but was rudely interuppted by a horrible noise. " Wer'e Here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\\\"
Chapter 5: A new Friend

The land of Clow....
Shannon took down the basket full of clothes to wash and dry by the river near the place where she would be staying.
She had only been staying there one day but already Shannon loved the land of Clow. It was not that hard for her to believe that she was born there,
it felt like home as soon as they had passed the border into the kingdom. But even as she worked hard to get all of the stains out of the clothes
she could not help but keep thinking over the same questions in her mind. Where were her parents? Why had they left her abandoned? Did they hate her?
Even though she loved her Nana with all her heart and even was a little grateful for her adopted family ( even though they worked her to the bone),
she could not help
but feel the empty space inside of her heart where her parents would have been. While she kept thinking these thoughts and repeatetly washed
a certain dark blue dress she heard
a giggle behind her.
" Why are you drowning that dress?" Shannon quickley turned around and saw a girl about her age with beautiful indigo eyes and long velvet hair. 5
Shannon blushed
to a color that resembled a bright tomatoe. She looked at the dress that she had continually whashed and found that had turned a bleached blue.
How long was i zoned out?
thoght Shannon as the girl came up to her. " Hi my name is Tomoyo Daidouji. Whats yours?"
" Sh...Shannon." " Hi Shannon! May i call you Shannon?" Shannon nodded." Well why don't you come over to my place? We have a machine that can do that."
Said the girl and pointed to the basket of clothes. " Come on!" She grabbed Shannon and the basket of clothes and brought them to a huge house.
" Is.. is this your house Daidouji-san!" " Yes, my mother is a famous merchant, and plz call me Tomoyo-chan."The place was huge! All over the walls were taprestries
and silk. " Wer'e here!" Tomoyo said and she stopped in a small room with a cold thing that seemed to bemade out of polished stone. " It's called a machine! My mother
only sells a few of these and she kept one for her-self." As she said this she dumped the contents of Shannonss basket into the Machine. It made weird noises
and before she knew it tomoyo-chan was leading to yet another room. " those clothes are those of a servant. Come i'll get you cahged into proper clothes that will make
you look so KAWAII!!" " Is that ok with your mother Tomoyo-chan? I don't want ot be a bother. Also i should be getting back soon, my family would want to know where i am."
" Don't worry about that." Tomoyo-chan said with a smile. " My mother enjoys when i have friends over. Maybe you can even spend the night! I'll ask my mother to send a message to
yours." And with that she was of, leaving Shannon with a bewildered look on her face.
30 minutes later a block away.....
Where was that stupid girl!? why had it taken so long just to wash a few of her and her daughters clothes? Then suddenly she heared something.
There was some one at the her door. It took her a whle to get there but when she did there at her door was a messenger with her basket of clothes
wich she had given to Shannon!! " A message from the Daidouji family." The Daidji family?! They were the richest family in Clow!
" Here is the laundry basket wich you had asked one of your children to wash." he said handing her the basket. That filthy girl isn't her child!she wanted to say,
but she hold her tongue. " Shannon is asking pemission to stay ovver at the Daidouji hooushold." How had that wretched girl meet the richest family in CLow!?
But maybe i can use this to my advantage.she thought as she replied. " Er... Yes she may do what she likes. But i want her make as soon as possible!" And with that
the message went to deliver the message. Not knowing that in the cruel woman's mind a plan was hatching.

Chapter 6: A Ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

~~~ Man i hate myself, i went back on my promise to make a new chapter each day : kicks self :! Ok.... i will try to finish up the story in the next few days, cause i really want to start a new story( and don't worry it will not be another disney based one, unless someone asks for another which i highly doubt). So here is next chapter. Ok unless CLAMP suddenly dies
( We certanitly hope not!) and leaves me The tsubasa and CCS characters in their will, even though we have never met and i live FAR away from them, i do not : sob : own them OK?

~ land of Clow ~
As Shannon walked on the empty road back to the home where she and her and her adoptive family had rented for their sudden trip to Clow, she could not help thinking about the confusing event that just happened.
FlashBack
I was a little uncomftorable in tomoyo's pajamas( which i had borrowed) untop of her silk bed by Tomoyo. " Are you sure its ok? i mean i don't know if my mother will let me sleep over." I spoke up. " oh don't worry about that! My mom already sent a messenger to ask --" She was cut off as her mom, who i learned was sonomi a famous Trader, jumped on her.
" Yessssssssss!!!!!! You'r cute new friend Shanon can sleep over!! Her mom said so!!!!!" screamed the mom followed by squeals of happiness from Tomoyo.
" Wait... Whaaaa!?" I could only manage. Since WHEN di my Stepmother let me have fun!? Some thing was up. But my train of thought was interuppted by a scream from Tomoyo. " This is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just HAVE to make your gown for the upcoming event!" she went all starry eyed after that. " What Event?" i asked, but i was already being dragged away by tomoyo to be measured for the the dress.
End Flash back
After that i could not get a straight answer after that. But i had a feeling that the event and the sudden trip to Land of Clow. I was sure that they had mentioned it once before, but i had been day dreaming about the possibilities of who i waas every since i had learned that i was from Clow. I would just ask Granny when i got home.
" Oh.." I looked up and i was already home. I walked in expecting the rush of commands telling what i should do next and how late i was. It never came. Instead i was greeted with by none other that my step mother, who was smiling! " Welcome home dear, did you have a fun time?" she asked in such a nice voice that it was all i could was say." Yes....."
after the strange encounter with the usually grump step mom i headed up to the room i shared with my Granny. When i got there she was already waiting. " How was the sleep over?" she asked paitently. ' Great! i think i finnaly have made a friend!" I said excitingly. " she may act a little weird... but she is really friendly!" " i'm glad to here that sweetie." she responded.
" Oh and before i forget.." i said as calm as i could " why exactly did we come to the land of Clow again?" " Shannon! You should pay more attention when people are talking!" she looked at me dissaprovinly, and then smiled." We came to attend a ball that the royalty of Clow are holding for another royal family." aqnd with that she left the room leaving me with a suprised look on my face.
The rest of the week was spent between visits to tomoyo's house ( which my mother was suprisingly letting me go to) and being treated like a normal person instead of a maid at my house. Even though my adopted family's strange behavior was unsettling i ignored it. Soon i had forgotten all about it, and was wrapped up in tomoyo's obsession of making me a gown for the upcoming ball.
~ at the Daidouji mansion ~
" Shannon! you just HAVE to see the improvements i did on your dress, its finnally finished!" tomoyo screamed. She then asked some servants to get the dress for her. " Are you sure its ok for you to make this dress? i mean i don't even know if i'm going. I don't thinl my mother would let me." " You just HAVE to go!!!! Just think how Kawaii you'll look in my dress!" :Tomoyo goes all starry eyed, while Shannon sweat drops: "Besides I'm going and why wouldn't your mom let you go?" She asked. i stayed silent, but she went off the topic when the servants came in. " Close your eyes Hsannon, we'll put the dress on you." I did as she said until.." Ok! look in the mirror!" I walked up to the mirror and looked in.
And to my suprise i didn't see just some abandoned girl treated as a slave by her own family. I saw a beautifull girl wearin a beutiful pink dress ( A/N: just imagine it as a longer version of the dress Sakura wore in the Second movie without wings.) " Tomoyo..... its beautifull! You even have a necklace that matches it!" " Really! Shannon thinks my dress looks beautiful! You have to take and wear it to the ball thats in two days!!" Tomoyo saidas i changed back into my clothes and carfully placed it into my bag. " Are you sure?" " YES!!! Plz wear it to the ball!" And with that i was escorted out of the mansion. I headed home that night, hiding the dress just as i had been hiding that beautiful golden necklace that i hadn't taken off every since my Granny gave it to me. But heading back home, little di i know that the next day would change my life forever.

Chapter 7: The Day before the Ball

~~ Land of Clow ( duh!)~~~~
Even though i was not being forced to, i still could not get out of the habit of cleaning the house. While doing this i was thinking of how to ask my stepmother if i could go to the ball, I mean it was only a DAY away! While trying to think of a way to ask i heard a huge thump outside. I rushed to see what was wrong. i went out side and to my suprise i saw two men on the ground. One was tall, blonde, and wearing all white, the other had spikey black hair and black clothes on ( A/N :I'll give you 3 guesses lol!). They got up and wiped the dirt from their clothes. And to my suprise some type of rabbit thing poped out from behind the black guy. " You white manju bun!! can't you land us with some diignity left!" the man screamed at the rabbit ting." Puu! were in the Land of Clow again!" i was even more suprised as the thing talked! Then the blonde man spoke." We were just here when we droped Sakura-chan and Syaoran-kun off." When he said the names of the princess and prince ( A/N : through marraige of course!) of Clow i spoke up. " You know the prince and prince of clow!?" i said suprised. The man wearing all black turned around to face me. " You mean the brat and princess are the prince and princess of Clow now? i wonder how long we have been gone." The tall blonde man in turn said. " Oh i'm sorry Kuro-pii was so rude." he said with a smile." Wer'e travelers. I'm Fai, thisd cute thing is mokona, Mr. Black over there is Kuro-poo!" " I AM KUROGANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" said kurogane in obvious annoyance. " Hi i am shannon would you like to stay and rest at my house, and maybe you can tell me how you know the prince and princess of Clow." i said as i showed them to my house.

" i wonder how much time has past since we left?" Kurogane whipered to Fai. " i don't know, but is it just me or does or host Shannon look ALOT like Sakura-chan and Syaoran-kun?" " Your'e right she has sakura's hair, syoaran's eyes and acts like them to!" said Mokona in his shouting yet whispering at the same time tone. " Do you think-" Fai began as he was interuppted by Shannon." Mother! i found some travelers, is it ok if they stay until they are ready to leave the next day?" a chubby and some what unnaturally blonde woman came down" NO! " screamed the women as she clenched her fists and looked like she was about to hit the young girl, but then she thought better of it. " no deary we don't know where the have been." she said in a sorta sweter voice. " But... they know the prince and princess!" protested Shannon. The woman's eye's seemed to change and filled with........ one could only describe as greed. " Oh.... then they can stay as long as the like! plz won't you have dinner with us?" And before the group knew it they were having dinner with the rest of the family. " So.. how exactly DO you know the prince and princess?" started up one of the daughter's who looked exactly like their mother. " Well me and kuro-pii traveled with Syoaran-kun and Sakura-chan." " you mean you are the people that traveled with the prince and princess for a long peroid of time 15 year's ago?" said the father that had grey hair and huge glasses. " So that's how long its been..." started off Fai " Well i see the got married did they?" " Ya, whatever i heared that they have a daughter too." said one of the other daughter's rudley as Shannon served the food. " No Sweetie, HAD a daughter, some one kidnapped her exactly 15 years tommorrow." said the mother. And then the only other sane person in the family besides Shannon as far as the group was conserned spoke up." Yes, on the same day we found dear Shannon."

" Yes, on the same day we found dear Shannon." Granny said camly. " WHAT!!!!" cried Kurogane, Fai, Mokona, And Shannon simutaneously. " You people arn't shannon's parents?!" Cried the travelers. " The prince and princess had a daughter that was kidnapped on the same day i was found?!!!!" i said as i fell downspillling everyone's dinner. Then my beloved golden necklace fell from its hiding place. i took it and placed it back in its hiding place hoping no one had seen it. She looked around and saw no change in any one's expression. I sighed hoping i could keep my secret a little longer.

~~ Tsubasa's group P.O.V~~
Although it was out for only a single second, Shannon was wrong that no one saw it. " Did you see whhat mokona just saw?" asked the cute Mokona Modoki. " yes it was some kind of neck lace that had an insegia of the princess's wings on it." Kurogane stated camly. " Do you think -" Fai started. " Whatever it means we should probably learn more about the situation before making conclusions. We should probably check with the brat and the princess to get out facts straight." " whyuuuuu... Your'e so cool Kuro-pii!" Fai exclaimed. He then sat up straight from the table. " Thank you for feeding us and helping us , we should probably go over to the castle and catch up we our friends.' and with that the group was off.

~~ Day that follows up to night of ball~~~
Ok you can do it Shannon. Just ask her, i'm sure everything will be alright. This is the perfect time, right before they leave to shop for the ball. " Umm... Mother?" " Yes?!" she said, she had stopped acting nice to me and was acting like she did before. Oh well it was good while it lasted. " Um.... could i maybe got to the ball too?" She seemed to dwell on this for a moment. Then she said if you finish all of the chores and help your stepsisters get ready. " But then i won't have time to prepa--" " Don't you WANT to go?!" she shouted and then left with her daughters snorting with laughter behind her.
It took me 6 hours to finish all of the chores and another 2 hours to help my step sisters get redy. But i did it all i really didn't want to dissapoint tomoyo after all the hard work she had done and.. also i sorta wanted to go to hte ball myself. I mean who WOULDN"T want to? So after all the hard work i went to my mother and told her i had finished.
She looked me over and said" YOu did to everything..... but look how filthy you are, I mean you don't even have a dress! You would just be an embarresment. So NO." and she headed out the door with only one more sentence. " And you BETTER be home by the time we get back at 1:00 with food prepared."
I couldn't believe it. After All the work i had done. Not even Granny could help me, she was out seeing an old friend. I didn't even realize i was crying until i felt the tears dropping on my hands. Even if i snuck out all the time to get ready, and i would STILL have to be home before they do. I could never to it. Then i heard a knock on the door. And in came in the last person i had expected to see.

Chapter 8: The Ball!!

"Tomoyo?!" I screamed, she was the last person i had expected to see! " Why ar'nt you at the ball?". I said looking at her and her long dark blue dress wtih a white collar." Because Sahnnon," she said as she kneeled next to me. " I can't possibly have fun at the ball with out my best friend. And it was obvious that you wern't coming when your stepmom and stepsisters passed my house without you." But why wouldn't you want to go to the ball?" i couldn't help but ask. She gave me a strange look, " Of course i'm going to the ball, just not without you.
" But.. look at me."
" I won't take no for an answer! and besides i can fix you up and you can put on the dress i made you."
" But my step mother and sisters expect me to be here with food for them when they come back at 1:00."
" So! you'll just have to get back at 12:00 so you can get some food and change into your other clothes."
" But...But..."
" You are going to the ball wether you LIKE it or NOT!" and with that she dragged me to my room and cleaned me up. She brushed my hair and got me into her dress while she did a few finishing touches. ' Umm.. Tomoyo?" "Yea?"Thanks." i said and before i lost my courage i said." I know you got a necklace and everything, but is it ok if i where my own?" and i showed her the golden necklace i was found with. " Its its.... BEAUTIFUL!!" she screamed while having a starry look in her eyes. " It looks way better with the gown the my own! You HAVE to wear it!!!" she screamed. " ok.... so now that i'm ready, exactly HOW are we going to get to the ball!?" " Oh don't worry about that." she said as she lead me out side." I brought a carriage."

I had been dreading this moment. And wasn't the fact that the ball by tradition was supposed to be for his lost daughter, and the fact that she had dissapered on this didn't help. But it ever since he found out who the ball was going to be for instead.
Flash Back
i read the paper that suggested that the ball should be held to celebrate the Li Clan's heir 16th birthday, where he would have to choose a fiance if he could take over the clan. It looked good so far, i mean we had to pick someone to celebrate the ball for, or else the people of the kingdom would......(A/N: Ok.. i don't know WHAT the people would do and i'm too lazy to think of something, so heres a nice interupption.)
WHAAA?!!!!!!!! i read the name over again just to make i didn't make a mistake." Oh no....." was the only thing i could manage as every one else cracked up ( except for the king who was glaring wiht a smile on his face). I couldn't ignore it, why oh why name your child......
" They said they wanted to name it after one of the famouse people here at Clow." Yukito explained with the ever persistent smile on his face, that seemed a little bigger then usual. " And when they saw how the baby looked, they couldn't help but name him............
..... Shoaran Li." And with that every one exploded with laughter, even Touya! " Oh great..."
End Flash Back
When we announced whose birthdays we were celebrating everyone laughed! I think i even heard snorting from three weirdly blonde woman. At least our old friends Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona were here to attend. it might help the embaressment a little. Well, at least it seems people have started to dance and forget the whole thing. i thought. But then i heard the king shouting. " GREAT!! JUST GREAT!! Now theres two of them!! I mean the kid even LOOKS like him!!!!" " Why don't you just shout up!!!" shouted the so called ' guest of honor ' in his formal suit ( A/N; ok this also looks like the suit Li wore in the CCs second movie during the play.) and a striking pose as well as a glaring contest with the king. " Fine whatever!" said Touya as he walked away to talk to yukito, the high preist.
Kurogane, mokona, and Fai then approached me. " whyuuuuu.... Looks alot like you syoaran-kun. hehe" said the mage. along with a response from Mokona." Just like someone else we know!!" And with that he got hit by Kurogane who gae him a casty look. Someone else? Those three did look like they were keeping a secret.....
" Tomoyo-hime!!" shouted kurogane as he headed for a young girl wiht long dak hair. " Its probably not the same person he knows, but knowing Kurogane he won't care. i'm a little jealous, hehehe." Fai sasid as he and Mokona raced off to another part of the room. What is up with them? i thought.
~~~~Shannon's P.O.V ~~~~~
I couldn't stand the huge crowd in the ballroom so i just sat out side on the balcony on a bench behind a waterfall near the castle while Tomoyo went in. But not too near. It was so quite and peacefull out here, also there was a huge clock so i could tell when it was time to go. I was lost in thought when i heared footsteps coming towards me. Then out of no where a brown haired boy ran around the corner and his in the shadows of the fountian, looking around to see that no one had saw him. " Phew.. i lost those crazy girls."Then he turned around and saw that he was not the only person here. Amber eyes met amber eyes and we were silent for a moment. then he said " Your'e not one of those crazy girls, are you?" " No..... and why were you running away any way?"
" Oh good, i was running away from some crazy girls. why are you here?"
" I like the peacefullness here."
" Yea... its nice. So whats your name? Mines Shoaran Li?"
" Oh.. mine is Shannon. Nice to meet you Shoaran."
i think he just blushed a little, but then he replied " oh.. nice nice to met you too shannon."
I don't know how it happened but he started to tell me every thing about his life. How he was pressured, trained, how he hated all the atention, everything!! Even that he had to choose a fiance at the ball tonight. and looking into his eyes i couldn't help but tell him everything too, how i was found, how my family treated me, about tomoyo, all i knew about my past, and finnaly the nacklace. it just felt so great to let everything out and to be with him, i didn't what i was feeling.When i showed it to him he gasped. " But.. But... thats the insegnia of the Princess and prince of Clow on it! Only some one from their family is allowed to have it!! You could actually be their daughter!! it all makes sense, the ady you were found, everything!!"
i couldn't believe what i had just heard. Then tomoyo with that freaky guy i saw early.. kurogane i think with her. When she noticed i noticed she sweatdropped and said. " i'll explain later, Who is that person who was with you?" I turned around and found that she was right, that the guy HAD left, and in what looked like a hurry. Then Tomoyo looked up at the clock above us. " Oh no!! its 12:00 we have to get you home!! What!!!!? how long had me and Shoaran been talking, but that didn't matter! i had to get home in time!!!

Chapter 9: Getting back home!

Oh no! i had to get back to the house and get ready , before the my step-family gets there!
" Come on Tomoyo! We gotta hurry!" i looked at her with a paniced face. We began to walk out of the ball ,
toward tomoyo's carraige which we had arrived in . It looked like Kurogane ( i think that was his name) was
gonna follow, which sorta made Tomoyo panic, but he was taken away by the blonde tall guy that i had stayed at my house.
I asked Tomoyo. " so what was that about? he was following you as if he knew you." She replied. " i don't know, he just
came up to me and started following me AND wouldn't let any one dance with me! it looked as if he thought he was protecting me!
But he was nice enough once i started to talk to him." she said and then looked at me. " And what about you! I could have
sworn you were talking to someone out there Shannon!" I blushed and was about to tell her, but the carrriage had arrived
at the place where i was staying. i hopped out, without telling Tomoyo anything and stared to clean and cook like mad.
Then after i had just finished everything, my step-family came in. They looked pretty down. " how was the ball?" i asked. And one of the sisters
( couldn't know which) snapped back. " It was horrible! the guest of honor dissapered for almost the whole time! And when he finnaly got back, he wouldn't
stop talking about some girl he met! Claiming she was the prince and princess's long lost daughter! That she had the princess's crest on her necklace!"
I blushed, he talked about me? Did that mean he liked me?
The mother shouted. " not ONE of my daughters got to spend any time with him! And its obvious hes gonna announce that he will marry that girl
tommorow at noon!"
Huh?! I think i was as red as a tomato now. my step-sisters walked off to their rooms, but my step-mom stopped when she looked at me a little longer.
" Wait a second." She came towards me. Oh no! what was wrong now! " Whats on that necklace?" she pointed to my neck. Oh no! i forgot to hid the necklace!
" Thats the crest..... the girl?.........princess's daughter...........YOU!!!! she screamed! " YOU ARE COMING WITH ME!" she screamed and dragged me over to the small room
where i stayed with my granny ( who was visiting a friend). She ripped off my necklace and slammed and then locked th door. " i was just goin g to steal your friends money...
but pretending one of my daughters is the princess's daughter and marring her of to that Li kid! That will do!" ahe laughed. " NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i screamed , but it
was too late, i was locked in.
Chapter 10: Locked Away

~ hi peoples! or person ! hehe..... only in my wildest fansties would i own TRC and/or CCs , that and the world be made of candy..~
After banging on the door thirty more times,
shannon gave up hope of getting out of the locked room.
What do i do now? she thought as she sat back down on the
dirty floor. I'm stuck here......
And as soon as morning comes, and my step-family gets up,
they're gonna go straight to the ceremony
where Shoaran announces whose hes gonna marry!
And one of my step-sisters will pretend to be me
by using my necklace! And no one else exept for tomoyo and Shaoran
saw me at the ball and know what i
atually look like. And who knows what my step-mom will do after that!
Probably convince everyone that
one of her daughters is actually the lost princess.... I mean this all so sudden!
The possibility that I'm
a princess!
and after meeting Li...... i like him sure, maybe even.........
Oh i don't know love him?! oh so many things are happing at once.
And even if i do love him, which makes blush just thinking about it,
I can't let my step-family do that do him! And fool everyone!
Shannon was haveing SUCH a headache from all this.
"oh, wheres ..........

Shannon mumbled as she callapsed on the floor asleep.
( somewhere a couple blocks away )
" you do know the price to pay if you do help her."
said a figure that appered on the mirror in the hands of an eldery woman.
" Yes i know Yuko, i know, blah blah blah blaaah blaaaah. hehe... oh well,
I've given up on my poor family, but i'll do anything to help my shannon out."

Chapter 11: Like Magic

Sahnnon couldn't cry any more, she had already used up all her tears.
The announcement should be starting about now.... Shannon thought.
Thats it! no more feeling sorry for yourself, lets try to find a way out of here. With that she seemed to feel a tingleing inside .
" Huh?" She mummbled as the door began to slowly open,
the tingling feeling grew stronger consuming her. She got up wondering how the door got open. " Like Magic..."
she sayed quitley to herself as she headed toward the door, ignoring the growing sensation inside of her.
She rushed out of the house determined to reach the castle in time. " But how will i get there in time!?"
She gasped realizing how far away the castle was. The tingle grew stronger , and suddenly she was in the
air heading toward the castle! She looked behind her and there were Shining bright wings comming from her back!( A/N: Not unlike Sakura's.)
" Ok... I have wings. No time to figure how, i have to reach the castle in time!" Sakura told herself coming closer to the castle,
until she landed in the courtyard, she felt the wings go back inside of her as she rushed toward the center room. She
could here something going on inside there!
~ inside ~
" I, Shaoran Li," Shaoran could her stifled laughter coming from the crowd, He groaned mentaly.
" Take for my bride, the daughter
daughter of the prince and princess of Clow."
Everyone gasped at this. " But shes dead!", and the " The Lad's dillusional!" Could be heard.
Then a little voice could be heard. " Here!" Shaoran smiled then, frowned when a little fat blonde chick
wit hShannons necklace on came up on the central stage, grinning like a maniac. " Here i am!"
" Um ... I'm not an idiot, you SO are'nt Shannon. " He said sighing . " Oh yea! Well look at this necklace!
It totally has the isegna or whatever of the princess!" Holding itup from her neck, almost choking herself.
The crowd gasped..........again.
" Or you stole it from Shannon." Replied Shaoran still looking doubtfull. It looked like only one person in the crowd
didn't believe the girl, a velvet haired girl in the back. And it looked like a couple people in the cout also looked doubtfull.
It looked like an agrument was going to start, when a voice came from the back of the crowd cried. " I'm Shannon!"
~ Back to Shannon's P.O.V~
I had heard enough! I pushed throught the doors, and entered the central room. It looked like they were about to fight,
so i shouted at the top of my lungs, " I'm Shannon!" stepping onto the central stage. Everyone stared in awe. Why are
they looking at me like that? I Thought I mean you'd think they be disgusted with the rags i have on? I thought, getting a little
shy. "Huh?" I mumbled as i looked down, i didn't have rags on anymore! Instead a long pink gown replaced it! Getting the strength I
spoke again. " I'm Shannon, and.... hopefully, the lost Daughter- or the Lost Princess of Clow."
Chapter 12: A Reunion and a Wedding

~ Almost done! ~
The crowd looked at the two who claimed to be the lost princess. I didn't really
take taht long to figure out who was lying,
I mean, Shannon WAS the spitting image of her mother and father ,
also they were claims from a large amount of People
( guess who! ) who claimed to have seen Shannon, and the necklace on her before.
The guards took away the imposters,
a.k.a Shannons step-mother and step-sisters. And so the ceremonie went on.
" Um, well now that thats over, i was wondering if
you would Shannon, um, Marry me?" said Shaoran Li, face red. Laughing,
making Li get a little nervouse, she screamed.
" Of course!" jumping onto him ( making him fall on the ground.) Both
laughing while getting up,
Shannon was hugged tightly by
none other than Tomoyo. " Why didn't you tell me that he was the one at the ball!
I'm gonna have to desiegn
the whole wedding you know!!"
She squeled letting go her mind already filling with ideas. She turned her attention
to the royal family-her family.
Sakura looked like she was trying
not to burst into tears, Syaoran's face filled with happiness and pride, even Touya looked happy.
She ran up to her parents arms,
happy to finnaly
HAVE real parents. They stayed like that for a while, just hugging, crying, and laughing toghether,
They finnaly broke apart and Shannon
hugged her uncle, the king. He whispered int oher ear so only she could hear,
" Good thing you don't look like the genki." Making her laugh.
She greeted Yukito and the rest of the royal court, saying special thanks to Mokona, Fai, and Kurogane,
even though Kurogane
couldn't figure out why. Then to Shannon's delight, entered Her Nana.
She ran up to hug her, so happy to see her. " Thanks for letting me out
Nana." she said. Suprised nana sled. " how'd you know?"
" Just a feeling, come you have meet everyone! And you have to live wiht us at the castle
after the wedding!" She said leading her Nana up to everyone.
~ Two months Later ~
" Good thing they didn't throw you in the dungeon dear, They just banished you from Clow."
Said the husband of a very distressed woman and their
childrean. Bells from the royal wedding could be heared as the left the border of Clow and headed toward home.
" Mom! they didn't even invite us!"
Screamed one of them. " Shut up! Its your fault! you messed everything up! See mother,
you shoudv'e let me have pretended to be the brat!" With that
the two girls started fight aggresivly. " Stop that! Both of you! Your'e giving me a migrane!"
Said the mother rumbing her temples.................
~ Elswhere~
The Bride and the groom looked beautiful in the clothes desiegned by the bride's best friend
. The royal family ( this also including Shannpn's Nana)
and friends waved goodbye as the newley wedded couple went into the carriage
that would carry them to their honeymoon. Everyone cheered,happy to
be a part in the festive celebration. It was a happy occasion, ot only was this a royal wedding,
but it celebrated the long awaited return of the
Lost Princess of Clow. This story ends in a certain phrase, common among most fairy tales.
It ends in these common , yet wonderfull words......
"And they all lived Happily Ever After."
