Chapter 1: Smile
(by smile_for_me360, added on 2006-06-29 14:40:54 AEST) [Discussion Topic]

Yeah, my 1st TRC/CCS Fan Fiction, I do not own, CLAMP, the wonderful story tellers and artist own little fantasy of a mixed batch of Characters. I hope everyone likes it, and forgive some spelling errors.

Untitled, Because I can’t think of a name for this……

Yuko looked sadly on, as she watched the two children vanish slowly, holding on to what little they had left of each other. Fai walked next to Yuko, having a very solemn look, and Kurogane, leaning on a tree, his blood red eyes fixated on the two.
“What will happen to them?” Fai asked, his voice faulting a bit.
Yuko turned and started walking back to her house. “They will return to their original form.”
Kurogane shot her a dirty look. “And your ok with that, they are their own, no one else.”
Yuko turned her head to look at him. “Yes, they were, in the land of Clow. The world Clow Reed created for those children, for when the time came for Fei Wang Reed to intervene with their fate.” She walked on, entering the establishment. Fai and Kurogane watched as the two said good bye, and share one last kiss, that faded away with the wind. Fai walked near Kurogane.
“Its unfair, but those two will be together again.”
Walking passed him, out to the exit of Yuko’s house. Mokona jumped on Fai’s shoulder.
“Fai can’t leave, Fai still has many worlds to see.” Mokona begged.
Kurogane stayed at his spot near the tree, keeping his eye on the two. Fai patted Mokona on the head.
“You know Mokona, I have no reason to run anymore, Ashura-ou is dead now.”
Kurogane grunted at that, Fai gave him a true smile. “Besides, its only a short time.”
Kurogane walked after him, grabbing his arm. “What do you mean “a short time.”
Fai looked up at Kurogane. “Kuro-Mee, we too will vanish.”
Kurogane let go of his arm. “What about my Japan.”
Fai walked away. “You will most likely return to your world, as I will mine.”
Mokona cried. “But you made a deal with Yuko, you can’t go home.”
Kurogane followed Fai out, as Mokona jumped off of him. The two looked back at the house, and the white mujin bun.
“Mokona can’t come with you, Mokona has to stay. Will you come see Mokona.”
Fai and Kurogane smiled down at it.
“Maybe one day, we’ll all meet again Mokona, so don’t you cry.”
“White Mujin bun…” Kurogane cracked a small humorous smile. “You weren’t so bad, Mokona.”
Mokona jumped up and down, sing a song. “Kuro-kun, Kuro-san, Kuro-moo-moo, Called Mokona, Mokona, Huhu.” And danced to the house to tell Yuko.
Fai and Kurogane waited till Mokona was out of sight before they left.

***********************************************************************

The two sat on a park bench, enjoying the blue sky, and cool genital breeze, along the way getting strange looks from passer Byers that came their way, with the strange clothes they where wearing.
Kurogane grunted. “So now we just wait, right?”
Fai smiled and nodded. “I guess so.”
Kurogane hated it, have already said his good bye to the princess and the kid was hard enough, but now he had to say good bye to Fai.
“Will you be alone?”
Fai was shocked by his question. “ What?”
Kurogane reached his hand out, his scare still visibly noticeable. “Will you be alone?” His hand on Fai’s cheek.
Fai smiled at him, a sad smiled. “No, I will not be alone.” He put his hand to his heart. “I have memories, that I will hold on to.”
Kurogane tisked. “That’s not what I meant.”
Fai moved his hand toward Kurgane’s, and rested it there.
“I know what you meant, yes, I will be alone, but I won’t be lonely.”
Fai fell into Kurogane’s embrace.
“But I’m sure one day, Kurogane, that we will meet again.”
Kurogane’s eye’s widen, Fai’s body felt light and cold, he held on tighter.
“Don’t leave me Fai.”
Fai sighed, as he smelled Kurgane’s sent, tears forming in his eyes.
“Remember, there is never a true good bye, so lets say well meet Mokona, the four of us together again one day.” Fai looked up into Kurogane’s eyes. “Haven’t I told you I love your eyes.”
Kurogane’s eyes where full of emotion, seeing Fai’s once brilliant cerulean blue eyes, slowly lose its color, as his skin grew paler. He was fading faster away then he was, and he hated it, he hated all of it, this Huizen was unfair, messing with peoples lives, even when they find happiness.
Fai moved forward and kissed Kurogane lightly on his lips. “I guess…I have to go.”
“Fai…”
Fai pushed him away, to look at him clearly, but hands still entangled.
“Lets meet again one day.” He gave him one last smile. “And save me too, Kuro-sama.”
Kurogane watched as he faded away, as his hands still clenched, holding on to thin air.
Kurogane looked back to the blue sky, visions of Sakura, Syaoran and Fai clouded his mind.
“Why is it that I lose everyone that I love?” He said to no one in particular.
A familiar voice shocked him back to reality. “Look out.”
Kurogane shot up and stopped the soccer ball from hitting his face. The boy in front of him stopped and blinked at him in shock.
“Cool.”
Kurogane eyes widen. “Syaoran?”
Syaoran eyes widen. “Do, do I know you?” The boy felt like he knew this man in front of him, ignoring the fact he was wearing strange clothes.
Kurogane smiled and shook his head. “No, we’ve never meet.” He handed him the ball.
Syaoran was about to say something when a girl ran up.
“Syaoran-kun, the school bus is ready.” The girl came up and grabbed his hand.
“Sakura-chan.”
Kurogane smiled. “I’m glad to see you two again.”
Sakura and Syaoran just blinked. A honk of a bus startled the two.
“Oii, get in the bus you two.” An older boy yelled.
“Hoeeiii!! Oni-chan.” Sakura yelled.
Sakura and Syaoran turn towards the man they just meet and found he had left. Another honk of the bus Sakura and Syaoran ran towards it.
Kurogane smiled as he watched the two run of together. He looked at his scared hand and noticed he too, was now fading.
“If they found each other, I’m sure we’ll find each other too.”
Kurogane closed his eyes as he faded away. “Lets meet again in deed, damn mage.”

“Sakuraaaa, Tommyoo, Brat.” A yellow fluff ball yelled. “Lets go to the Carnival.”
“Kero-chan, Syaoran is not a brat.” Sakura puffed as she smashed her hand on the table.
Touya put a plate of cookies on the table, and rested the tea on the pads. Yukie smiled as he sat down with a cup of milk. Fujikita smiled at Kero.
“You know, I have tickets, Why don’t the five of you go.”
Touya narrowed his eyes at his father. “ The five of us.”
Tomoyo laughed in the back ground evilly. “I get to film Sakura and Sayoran again this trip.”
Sakura and Sayoran exchanged worried looks.
Fujikita smiled at his son, as his smile got bigger. “Yes the five of you.”
Touya sighed. “I really want to know what those ghost tell you, ever since you got your powers.”
“They tell me almost everything, even the little adventures Sakura and Syaoran where on.”
Yukito was oblivious that they were talking about him first, and Sakura and Syaoran where oblivious that he was talking about the other adventure the two had shared recently.
Touya sighed. “Your saying this had or has yet, to do with Yuko right?”
His father just smiled. “Maybe.”
Kero was in shock. “Yuko, that crazy witch, that’s one thing you never want to deal with.”
Fujikita grabbed the tickets and Touya’s keys and shoved it to his son. “So get going.”
Kero shot up. “But wait what about….Ack let me go.” Touya grabbed Kero by the tail and threw him out the door. “Get in the car.” Touya stopped and looked at his father. “You do know she’s crazy right?”
He nodded. “Not as crazy then us right?”
Touya sighed. “ Man, you are way off.” Touya closed the door behind him.
The group left, and Fuikikita smiled. The ghost of his wife showed up and rested on his shoulder.
“Natishdako, will it be ok, for those four to meet again?”
His wife nodded and smiled. “Yes, its Huizen after all.”

*************************************************************

“Kurogane, wait up!” Two people ran towards the taller man.
“Ryou, Soma, not my fault if you over slept.”
Soma clenched her fist. “Well maybe if you slept at all, we would get some sleep.”
Ryou nodded in agreement. “Yeah you old night owl.”
“Old, old, how old do you think I am, I’m 18, you shrimp.”
Ryou shot back. “WHO’S A SHRIMP?” He tried stomping on his foot, only to get a punch in the head.
“O, that hurt.” He yelled back, getting ready to fight him.
“Fine, I’ll make you wish you where never born, you brat.”
Soma got between the two. “Now boys. Don’t make me do something you’ll regret.”
Both boys let it be for awhile, knowing they’d get there chance to kill each other later on.
“Tell me why we are going to the Carnival in the first place.”
Soma blinked. “Why are we going?”
Ryou pulled out four tickets. “Because I won four tickets, remember.”
Kurogane laughed. “Well you sure can’t count, you have an extra ticket.”
Ryou narrowed his eyes. “I know that you jerk.”
Soma sighed, “Here comes another fight.”
A person walking out of a store startled them, with another not that far behind him.
Kurogane’s heart skipped the beat when he saw the two, something was very familiar and scary at the same time started to form with in him.
The taller and darker of the two grabbed the smaller and blonder ones arm rather cruelly and ruff, sending the other to be thrown against the wall. “Where the hell do you think your going Fai.”
The younger one looked up and pulled his arm away. “Away from you Ashura, I Ha…”
Fai’s eye’s widen in fear as Ashura raised his fist to punch him, but it never came, Kurogane had grabbed his fist.
“What?” Ashura looked over at the man who had stopped him. “Who the hell are you.”
Kurogane narrowed his red eyes has he clenched the other mans arm harder, and swung at him, hitting him in the face and knocking him out cold. “I’m someone who doesn’t like people like you picking on the weak.”
Fai was still up against the wall, be it shock someone saved him, or that the person who saved him was nostragamical.
“Thank you.” He was finally able to say.
Ryou and Soma looked at each other, then at Kurogane, to the dark haired man on the sidewalk, to the blond haired blue eyed foren. Kurogane straitened himself out and grabbed the blond by the wrist and guided him away from the scene, as Soma and Ryou followed.
Ryou wanted to make things a little brighter, considering what had just happened only mere minutes ago.
“Hi, my names Ryou, how about you?” He gave the blond man a smile, and noticed he had a hard time trying to understand him, but it got to him anyway. “I’m Fai.” He turned to the man still holding his arm.
“Ummm.” Trying to get his attention.
“Kurogane.” Still walking in a fast pace, Fai keeping up the pace as well, Soma bowed as much as she could. “And I’m Soma, are you from America?”
Fai shook his head. “Russia.”
Kurogane slowed and let the man go. “What brings you here?”
Fai looked uncomfortable from the question, so Kurogane changed the subject. “I know we just meet and all, but we have an extra ticket to a carnival, do you want to come.”
Fai blinked. “Are you sure?”
Ryou nodded. “Yeah, I have an extra ticket right here, now come on lets go before the line gets to long.”
Soma sighed. “Sorry, but he can be a bit inpatient.”
Kurogane snickered. “And a brat.”
Ryou yelled. “What, why you…”
Fai started to laugh at the little squabble.

Tomoyo smiled as she pointed to the house of mirrors, with Kero on her shoulder.
“Why don’t you two go in there for a bit, I thought I saw someone.” Camera dead on them.
“Tomoyo…”Syaoran blinked. Sakura got the hint.
“Haahaane.” Sakura laughed. She grabbed Syaoran’s hand as they walked in. Tomoyo moved the camera over to Touya and Yukito, her cheeks blushing in a deep crimson. Touya scratched his head.
“Yuki….” Touya looked down at the clueless boy, munching on pink cotton candy.”
“Yes Toya?” He smiled taking another bite, but stopped when he saw Touya kneel in front of him and pull out a box. Tomoyo’s heart was racing, as she saw Yuki’s expression go from shock to all out happiness with a big “Yes”. Tomoyo was distracted by two people running past her, but she held her camera in place, missing the kiss when it first started. She turned the camera off when the two finally broke the kiss they were holding, getting a couple of shocked on lookers, as well as a few people who cheered for them.
Kero laughed. “Bout time one of them made a move.”
Star’s where in her eyes. “Now I only need to get Sakura-chan and Syaoran-kun’s on camera.”
Next thing she knew, Touya and Yukito was standing over her.
Touya frowned. “You got that on camera didn’t you.”
Yukito laughed. “It will be a good video to have, To-ya.”
He sighed defeated. “If you say so.”
Tomoyo sighed, knowing her footage was safe, and seeing what she had missed.

***************************************************************

In the house of mirrors, Sakura and Syaoran felt uneasy, considering the last card they had caught was sighted here, and that seeing reflections of each other also seemed a little scary. Syaoran would never admit it to Sakura, but he was afraid that one of his reflections might come and take her away from him, so he held on to her hand tight, as she did the same.
“Why did Tomoyo tell us to come in here?” Syaoran sighed.
“I’m not to sure.” Sakura said shakily, but knowing all to well why Tomoyo had sent them in, for Touya‘s and Yukito‘s sake. The next thing they knew, the two could not find the exit.
Syaoran and Sakura sighed.
“Will we ever have a normal date?” Syaoran mumbled.
“Hoiee!?”
“Sakura-chan!!” The two looked in the mirrors refection and saw what was to be them, but someone else.
Syaoran moved in front of Sakura. “Who are you.”
The mirrored Syaoran protected the Mirrored Sakura. “I am you, as she is her.”
Sakura held on to Syaoran. As did the mirror version of herself. “ What do you mean.”
Her other self smiled. “I am Princess Sakura of Clow, and this is Syaoran-kun, my special person.”
Syaoran held his right eye, as the other held his left. “Do you remember now, how that man took you and Sakura, a man named Clow Reed made a world for your lost souls, so hopefully one day you would meet again in that world.”
“Clow Reed.” Both of them yelled.

*****************************************************************

Ryou ran to the roller costar, dragging Soma with him.
“Wait, Ryou, I don’t want to. It to scary.” Soma tried to protest.
Ryou gave a sly smile. “Kurogane said you where to chicken.”
“What was that!!” She clenched her fist, staring over at Kurogane who gave her a daring smiled, he would have joined them, but he decided to feed their new friend first.
“Chicken, well see about that, come on Ryou.” The two walked over to the line.
Fai smiled as Kurogane took a drink of soda.
“Your girl friend sure as a lot of spunk.”
Kurogane almost laughed, which would have resulted soda going threw his noise, but he swallowed it down hard.
“SHE, is not by girl friend.”
Fai laughed. “Sorry about that.” Fai looked around, Kurogane noticed. “So, where do you want to go?”
Fai saw the house of mirrors, as Kurogane drank another sip. “How about that Kuro-kun.”
Once again he swallowed hard. “Kuro-kun?”
Fai laughed. “Or would you like me to call you Kuro-tan, Kuro-woof, or Kuro-teme.” He started bolting towards the house of mirrors. “Come back here you….” Kurogane chased after him. They both ran past a girl hold a video camera, into the house of mirrors.

Fai stopped to let Kurogane catch up to him.
“You sure are fast.”
Fai smiled. “So are you, and a strong fighter too.”
Kurogane remembered the guy he knocked out. “So, who was that Ashura guy?”
Fai’s smile faltered. Seeing his reflection as they walked, he felt pitiful.
“We’ll, you’ve heard of those mail order brides from Russia right?”
Kurogane looked away. “So he was your owner.”
Fai nodded. “Yeah, I tried to get away many times, but he would always find me, or I’d return to him because I had no where else to go, but now, I don’t know what to do this time, I’ve never had anyone save me before.”
Kurogane grabbed his hand, not knowing why exactly, but to him it felt right. “You can live with Souh, Ryou and me. We live faraway from here, and if he still comes after you, I’ll protect you.”
Fai was a little taken aback by it all. These words reminded him of something, then the next thing he knew, they knew, the exit had vanished, and in front of them, where two children, who’s reflection was different, compared to what they looked like. Fai and Kurogane looked as well to see their reflections where changed as well. Fai blinked.
“Excuse us.”
The boy and girl turned. Their mirrored counter parts smiled. The boys smiled.
“Kurogane, Fai. Its so nice to see you again.”
The girls laughed. “Fai-san, Kurogane-san, you found each other.”
Syaoran noticed the other guys, the dark ones, reflection was the man they saw in the park last week.
“What is going on?”
Fai and Kurogane joined the kids, as their reflections followed.
Four real, four reflections, yet all had shared a memory so strong, that not even the time witch had not known they would have met again in such a short time. Fai’s reflection looked over at Kurogane’s reflection. “I’m sorry I left you alone.”
He just grunted. “We’re all together now, aren’t we?”
Syaoran’s reflection nodded, as he held on to his princess.
Kurogane blinked confused by the hole thing. “Could some one tell me what the hell is going on?”
Fai felt his heart beating faster. “I remember something..” he looked at the kids, at Kurogane, then at the reflections. “Were is Mokona?” Memories came and gone, and somehow, the people in front of them, where them that did all the adventuring. Their reflections started to change back to their normal selves.
Syaoran remembered. “You’re the boy I gave my heart to, when I was taken by that man.”
His refection smiled. “And I thank you for that.”
Princess Sakura smiled at Sakura. “Don’t be to afraid, your future will be happy.”
Sakura nodded. “Thank you.”
Fai’s reflection smiled, his white coat fading. “My, we didn’t get much time to talk, but don’t worry, I’m sure we’ll see each other again.”
Fai nodded. “I hope so.”
Kurogane’s reflection smirked, as his eyes showed that of anger.
“Take care of Fai, and ask that damn witch to give me my sword back.”
The other Blinked. “Yes sir.” Feeling awkward talking to his reflection.
After that, they where gone, and a door way opened up to the outside world.
The four looked at each other.
Fai smiled. “I told you we’d meet again.” He blinked. “Even if it is the first time we have met.”
Kurogane sighed. “I’d like to see this go threw Ryou and Soma.”
Sakura laughed. “ Looks like we will never have a normal date.”
Syaoran sighed. “I’ve got a headache.”
They walked threw the door, to end up in a place they’d thought they’d never be at again.
Kurogane narrowed his red eyes. “This place….it’s hell, it has to be hell.”
Sakura got brighter, grabbing Syaoran by the hand. “Lets go see Yuko.”
“Yeah.” While being dragged along.
Fai turned and saw two jumping mujin buns. “Mokonas!!”
Kurogane sighed. “Great, I get little bit’s and pieces of my memory, and I already know one Mujin bun was bad enough, but now two of them.”
Both Mokona’s dance around them, chanting a little song. Yuko stepped out of her house with a smile.
Kurogane gritted his teeth. “I want my damn sword you bitch.”
Fai laughed. “O dear, I can see he has a temper in this world too.”
Sakura and Syaoran sighed, as Yuko gave Kurogane his sword in a rather violent manner.
“What the hell was that for, that almost hit me you bitch.”
Watsuki showed up and tried to stop Kurogane’s verbal attack.
“Please, please don’t maker her mad anymore, she’ll take it out on me.”
Fai tried to calm the man down with a simple question. “So, will we begin where we left off?”
Kurogane gave him a sly look. “For the kids or us?”
Fai smiled. “What do you think?”

End……………………………….........Or is it………………………..

Touya closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down. Yuki rubbing his shoulders to release the tension.
“Where did that monster and brat go?”
“Don’t worry Toya, Syaoran will look after her.”
“That’s what I’m worried about.”
Tomoyo smiled as she watched the two. Her cell phone range, getting a look from the two boy’s.
“Is it Sakura?”
Tomoyo sighed. “No, its my mother. I have to go.” and she ran off leaving the two behind, and a worried Kero on her shoulder.
“Tomoyo, why did you have to run off if its your mother?”
Tomoyo picked it up. “Hello Yuko, did everything turn out as planed?”
Kero eyes widened and yelled a little louder the normal. “Yuko!!!??”
The voice on the other side laughed mercy-less. “Thank you Tomoyo, in favor, I help you get that job you always wanted.”
Kero started to freak out. “That woman is nuts, why work with her?”
Tomoyo laughed. “Well, because.”
Yuko finished. “Clow told me to.”
Kero went white. But then got sly. “So the bitch still dose as told huh?”
Next thing Kero knew, when a magic incarnation was cast, he was down on the ground, burnt to a crisp.
He stood up and looked at Tomoyo, who had hung the phone up.
She looked concerned. “Are you ok, Kero?”
Kero looked up at Tomoyo. “This is war, get Eriol on the phone now, he is going to love this.”
Tomoyo gave an evil laugh. “Can I film this one too?”

Soma stomped her foot. “Where the hell did they go, I went on that thing for what, to prove my bravery and he’s gone.”
Ryou laughed. “We can punish him latter when he gets home.”

Yuko’s house.
“Achoo.” Kurogane sneezed.
Fai mumbled something on his chest. “Bless you.”
